me and liliah, way back when....

my mom and liliah's mom have been pals since college. there's lots of good stories there, i am sure, but their bond for life was pretty evident to me the moment that liliah and i met--there was an innate connection, i guess.  anyway, these photos are from way back in (i think) july--we both look so young! (and bald, ahem.)  anyway, i just wanted to post these old pics that i came across to let my dear pal in china know that i'm thinking about her. (and that my mom is thinking about her mom.)
